Flexibility and energy efficiency in buildings with PV and EV charging

In this project, different measures will be evaluated to see how they can contribute to increased flexibility and better utilization of decentralized solar PV generation. This idea is based on two previous projects where the combination of solar PV and battery storage has been studied from a residential building’s perspective, with the aim of increasing the utilization of the PV energy and reduce the losses in the building, by using storage and demand side management. The aim of this project is to study how different system solutions, combinations of such and energy management systems can contribute to increased utilization of the PV energy, what factors are crucial to get such a system effective and what tools can be used to increase the system's flexibility and the potential for these. Among other things, internal AC and DC supply will be studied in the building, in combination
