The division of Civil Engineering and the Built Environment is participating in the Vinnova-funded DIG-IT Lab


DIG-IT Lab is a new competence center at KTH financed by Vinnova with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of buildings through digitalization. The center will promote collaboration and the transformation of data collected from buildings into tangible societal benefits.

From Uppsala University, the Department of Construction Technology and the Built Environment, Professor Joakim Widén, and Assistant Professor Farshid Shadram are participating.

In addition to KTH and Uppsala University, Umeå University, Chalmers, and RISE are also taking part. International academic partners include AIT, Grenoble, Concordia, NTNU, Padua, Imperial College London, UT Sydney, and UNITE! From the industry sector, participants include Akademiska Hus, Bengt Dahlgren, Castellum, Einar Mattsson, EQUA, Myrspoven, Noss Invest, ProptechCore, Sally-R, Schneider Electric, SISAB, Swegon, and Vasakronan.
